I started in the veterinary field 20+yrs ago as a Certified Veterinary Technician. After 8 years I took some time off to raise my family and complete my BS in Biology at CSU. After moving to Wellington and under the mentorship of Drs Tracey and Wayne Jensen, I have learned the business side of a veterinary hospital and enjoy the unique challenges that it brings. My husband and I share our home with our labrador, Walker and a scaredy cat, Roada. We have recently become empty nesters and have taken up homebrewing as a hobby. We also enjoy hiking, backpacking and watching movies.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Hello! My name is Stacy W. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I moved to Colorado to pursue my dream career in Veterinary Medicine after my experience as an Animal Care Specialist confirmed that caring for companion animals was the career path that brought me true joy. I obtained my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Bel-Rea Institute in 2008 and spent 4 years as part of a high quality veterinary team specializing in Laboratory work, Radiology, and the care of hospitalized and ICU patients. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon the compassionate team at Wellington Veterinary Hospital in November 2012 after moving to Northern Colorado. I share my home and heart with my oldest friend Nick the Cockatiel, and beloved dogs Rusty, Charlie and my new diamond in the rough, Annie. I look forward to all there is to explore in Northern Colorado and growing professionally with the extraordinary team and family at Wellington Veterinary Hospital for many years to come.

Client Service Representative Hi there! My husband and I moved out to Colorado with the Air force in 2012. I have a degree from University of Nebraska and posses a very strong passion for animal care. I was very happy in 2013 to learn that I would become the next member of the Wellington Veterinary Hospital team and I get to exercise my passion every day with an amazing team who all also share my same passion! My husband and I share our home with our overly spoiled doggies, a 4 year old Puggle, Henry and a 1 year old “German Collie”, named Piper. When we are not at work we are taking advantage of our new surroundings and love taking family hikes up in the mountains, around Horse Tooth Reservoir and often times in Old town Fort Collins. I am happy to call Colorado home and am eager to see what 2014 will bring!
