Our Veterinary Assistants
Steff Porter and Samson
After moving back to Colorado in the spring of 2010 I started working at the clinic. It was during the first couple months that I realized I wanted to become a veterinary technician in addition to working with the dogs in boarding. Currently I am attending school to get my certification and am looking forward to that day. While not at school or working, I spend my time with my four-legged kids; GB my horse, Samson the dog and Pouncer the cat always manage to keep me busy! Laura Schentag
My name is Laura Schentag and I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Zoology. I have a pet rabbit named Bambi who I love more than anything. I also love horse back riding, traveling, playing with my cat, and anything that comes in the color pink! Someday I hope to pursue a career in Marine Biology because I have always loved sea otters and the northwest Pacific coastline. I am very friendly, outgoing, and love being with animals of any kind!
