Dr. Wayne Jensen grew up in Canyon City Colorado and attended Colorado State University for all of his higher education. His small animal medical and surgical internship was at Iowa State University, very near his family's farm. Along with the task of Hospital Director at our clinic, he is the new chief scientific officer for Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) in which he oversees MAF’s funding of humane health studies to improve the health and well-being of companion animals and wildlife. His hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, retriever field trials and working around the Jensen farm.
